The one time Oprah couch jumping Tom Cruise and his wife of over 5 years have called it quits according to reports. The couple who have a 6 year old daughter together have filed for divorce. Katie filed the paperwork in New York and is asking for sole legal custody.
Despite filing their marriage license in California Katie filed in New York because the state has different laws on custody suits. Tom was said to be blind sided by the divorce but other said that Katie was doing it for her daughter Suri and religious reasons.
While the couple is the only one who knows the true reasons behind the divorce the gossip columns and blogs will certainly be speculated in weeks to come.
